Not sure about your question of the use in your medications listed, is it your curious about hydrocodone containing acetaminophen? (tylenol--for generalities here), and the use of vicoden together, or the pharmaceutical company name "Watson"--Vicoden or hydrocodone .
To possibly clarify this please write back and ask your question again, include what the dose of hydrocodone is such as 5/500, 7.5/500 etc., as well as the Vicoden dose, i.e. 10mg dose, 20mg, etc..
Vicoden is the same as hydrocodone, hydrocodone is a generic brand, Vicoden is a patent name. Is your Vicoden prescribed as vicoden or is there a generic name on the presription vial as well? Check it out and you will see the names for each listed on the vial.

HEY! THANK U FOR GETTING BACK @ME,NO SORRY DID NOY FULLY ENTER MY QUESTION,i take the medication watson387,750's.and have been for just shy of 2years now,but recently a friend mentiond that that medication n long term dosage will cause heart problems,i take 1to 2 tablets a day,and in halfs when i do.so glad some 1 typed back 2me,guess my question is would this medication if i continue 2take as i am now, cause as i listed above or if u know any other serious health problems, thank u
okay, the most common area of problems associate with the two medications will be the liver and the kidneys, because that is the filtration systems in the body. Lack of or decrease urine production is a severe reaction to the drugs in question, seek medical attention and advise immediately if this should occur to you. They both can be very toxic to the liver, causing hepatitis, (inflammation of the liver), elevated liver enzymes (blood work will show this--called a LIVER ENZYME PANEL/lIVER FUNCTION TEST), even cirrhosis of the liver ( we tend to associate this disease with heavy drinkers), but that is not always the case, and neithe ris hepatitis--not the same thing as HEP-A,B,C,D okay. Abuse of these two drugs or overuse of them can be dangerous to your health.

They effect basically every system in the body when done in excess, stomach issues are on the rise, as is death rates from overdose, and liver damage which can in most instances reverse itself if caught early, that is why if you have any unusual side effects that are severe seek MEDICAL help quickly.
I aslo wanted to inform you that Vicodin, Hydrocodone, Lortab are all in the narcotic/opiate family, they all are the same thing just different pharcmy companies name them. Have not heard or read about any heart damage caused by the drugs themselves, but if you are on othe rmedications for say high blood pressure, or cardio vascular angio-tensions ( heart disease, CHF, A-fib, Sick Sinus Syndrome, Decreased Cardiac output--low ejection fraction/function) let your GP/personal physician be aware. If these were obtained at say a pain clinic, make them aware of other health issues you are taking medications for so they can make sure these are not contraindicated, in other words: not to be used together with BP meds, etc., like you shoul not eat grapefruit with certain heart meds. One other system that has been on the rise with the use of Vicodin, hydrocodone is blood problems, cytopenia--abscence of/or low production of red blood cells.
Again Watson is just a pharm. name brand name.
Good-luck
