This is for stomach pain taken three times daily. Any idea? The doctor spelled it, but I have no idea and cannot find anywhere.

I have never heard of that medication and I looked it up on the drugs a to z site. There is no listing for ballaidack. You might want to recheck the spelling or call a pharmacy and maybe they might be able to help you. I tried. Good luck and if you find out let me know. Thanks, Kim

I couldn't find anything close to that spelling either. But when I checked my PDR for drugs related to stomach disorders, I came remotely close to your doctors spelling with Balsalazide. Colazal is the brand name for Balsalazide which is an anti-inflammatory drug used to treat ulcerative colitis. The usual dose is 2250 mg (or 3/750 mg tablets) to be taken 3 times per day. I'm not sure if this is the medication your doctor was referring to, so please contact him or her for confirmation.
Thank you. I think you're right. I found this also, but sounds nothing like she spelled.
