A person that had a heart attach and is a diabetic is taking insulin injection?Plus heart meds but my question is the person is also taking glipizide 5 mg and metformin 1000mg, should these be taken by someone that is non-insulin dependant

The short answer is yes - it is safe for you to take all these medicines to control your blood sugar levels.
