Hello KellyJ. I see you have tried the benzodiazepines. They help to relax as well as sedate you and are often taken as an aid to sleep. I recommend a benzodiazepine that were created to help treat insomnia and for the purpose to get you a solid nights sleep. Ask your doctor about Dalmane or any of the others that fall into this category. Regards pledge

You may reach out to a local sleep disorder clinic. Treating it with many of the drugs you mentioned is not the way to go, in fact, many of those will make it harder to sleep. This is probably the only area I am open to herbal remedies as well. Hope this helps.
