Usual Adult Dose for Refraction

Instill 1 to 2 drops into the eye(s) once; may repeat in 5 to 10 minutes if needed

Other Comments

Administration advice:

• For topical ophthalmic use only; not for injection.
• Do not allow any solution to get into child's mouth.
• Patients with heavily pigmented irides may require larger doses.
• Wash hands and hands of child after use.
• Compress the lacrimal sac for 2 to 3 minutes after instillation.

Patient advice:

• Avoid touching tip of dropper to any surface as this may cause contamination.
• Transient burning sensation may occur upon instillation.
• Avoid driving or engaging in hazardous activities while pupils are dilated.
• Protect eyes from bright illumination as sensitivity to light can occur.
