"One year on this drug and now the ca markers are back elevated. The drug worked maintained ca 125 marker for 7 months. I’m now meeting with doctor to figure out next treatment plan. I can’t take anything that is carboplatin based as it causes profound hearing loss and I’m already very hard of hearing. While on doxcil my skin peeled, some pustules but they healed after 3 months, loss of appetite, and minimal hair regrown on scalp. Overall I tolerated this drug but it’s not working for me stage 4 ovarian cancer."
